FindGoodDaily (“the app,” “the Service”) is made by BringGoodLabs, LLC (“we,” “us”), a North Carolina company. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have. It covers the FindGoodDaily app and website.
The short version
- Your entries are yours. They are visible only to you unless you choose to share a moment.
- We do not read your entries to run our business. We do not read, review, or analyze entry content for ads, analytics, AI, or routine support. Any access is limited to what is technically necessary and is access-controlled.
- No ads, no profiling, no sale, no AI training on your entries.
- No user phone number. We do not collect your own phone number for your account.
- Support resources are passive. They are not triggered by the content of your entries.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account info — your name and email, when you create an account or profile.
- Date of birth for age screening only — at signup, we ask for your date of birth only to confirm you are 13 or older. We use it to check your age and then discard it. We keep only whether you are 13–17 or 18+ and the date we checked.
- Your entries — the moments you log, including your text, any photo, and the date, stored so the app can show them back to you and let you share the ones you choose.
- Contacts you add — if you tag or share with someone, the name, handle, relationship, phone number, or birthday you enter yourself. We do not read your device address book.
- Settings and payment — your reminder schedule and other in-app preferences; and, if you subscribe, limited transaction details. We never collect or store your full card number.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and aggregate information — basic device and crash diagnostics needed to run the app reliably, and aggregate, de-identified totals across all users, such as how many people logged a moment in a week. These totals are not tied to you and are not drawn from entry content.
We do not use per-user behavioral tracking or third-party ad trackers.
2. How we use information
We use information to run and improve the app: store your entries and show them back to you, deliver sharing you start, send reminders you set, process subscriptions, confirm age eligibility, keep the Service secure, and meet legal obligations. Any product improvement uses aggregate, de-identified data only — never your entry content. If you opt in, we may email occasional product updates, which you can turn off anytime; marketing email is kept separate from account email.
3. Your entries are private
- Visible only to you unless you share. You choose whether to share a Good Found moment, and every share is started by you using your device’s own messaging or sharing tools. There is no in-app inbox or social feed.
- No business reading of entries. We do not read, review, or analyze entry content for ads, marketing, analytics, AI training, or routine support. Any access is limited to what is technically necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, comply with law, or honor your requests, and is access-controlled.
- No AI training or advertising use. We do not use your entries to train AI, and we do not sell them or use them for advertising.
FindGoodDaily is not designed to collect health information. We do not ask you for health information, and we do not analyze, infer, or associate your entries with any physical or mental health status. Because entries are yours to write, please avoid putting sensitive health information in them unless you choose to.
4. How we share information
- With people you choose — when you share a Good Found moment, your device, operating system, carrier, or messaging app handles delivery. The message is sent from your device.
- With service providers — companies that help us run the app under contract, such as hosting, database, diagnostics, payments, and app-store providers. They may use information only to provide services to us.
- Legal, safety, and business transfers — if required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or property of users, the public, or us, or as part of a merger or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not “share” it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as California law defines those terms.
5. Support resources
The Service may include non-storing support screens or resources, including crisis-support information such as the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States. These resources are shown passively, are offered for convenience and general information only, and are not triggered by the content of your entries. Their availability does not mean that BringGoodLabs monitors, reviews, scans, analyzes, or responds to your entries, or that BringGoodLabs has any duty to do so.
If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact local emergency services right away. In the United States, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
6. Your rights and choices
In the app, you can review your information, correct your profile and contacts, delete individual entries or your whole account, export your entries, and control reminders, which are off until you turn them on. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may also have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of for those purposes, but you can still exercise your other rights. Contact privacy@findgooddaily.com. We will not discriminate against you for using your rights.
7. Retention and minimization
We keep information only as long as we need it, then delete it. You can delete your account in the app. Deleting your account removes your account and entries from active systems within 30 days, with limited exceptions for legal, fraud, or dispute reasons. Backups are purged on a rolling schedule within 90 days. For age screening, we collect your date of birth only to confirm eligibility, do not store it, and keep only your age band (13–17 or 18+) and the date we checked. If someone is under 13, we do not create an account or keep what they entered. Deleting your account does not cancel an app-store subscription; cancel that in your app-store settings.
8. How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls that restrict data to your own account, encryption in transit, and database rules enforcing per-user access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affects your information, we will notify you and regulators as required by law.
9. Children and age
FindGoodDaily is for people 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. At signup, we use a neutral age screen to confirm eligibility and block anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it promptly. Contact privacy@findgooddaily.com. If you are 13–17, you may use FindGoodDaily only if your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service with you.
10. Where the Service is offered
FindGoodDaily is offered only in the United States. We do not target or knowingly offer it elsewhere. If you reach the website from outside the United States, please do not create an account.
11. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy. For material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, give additional notice.
