As a father myself this story really hit home. Parents know what it is like to want to do anything you can to bring a smile to your children’s faces. Timothy Walker of Harrison Township, MI had to go the extra mile. After his home was severely damaged by a tornado on Memorial Day, Walker climbed into the home and made his way through the wreckage to retrieve his daughter’s favorite doll.
For his daughter, that doll represents hope for a return normalcy, after the storm. The picture really makes the story.
